MTO Gearless Slewing Bearing

Features of MTO gearless slewing bearing

The slewing bearing consists of two races, with compact structure and light weight. The steel ball is in contact with the arc raceway at four points, and can bear axial force, radial force and tipping moment at the same time. Precautions for the use of MTO gearless slewing bearing

1. Anti-rust

In order to maintain the performance of the bearing, it can be protected with a special coating. Although the equipment has a long durability with special paint or oxidation treatment, the method of rust prevention is still chrome plating or nickel plating.

2. Lubrication and sealing

Most bearings fail due to improper lubrication or impurity contamination. In many construction equipment, the overflow of grease is ok, but for robots and positioning devices, leakage is not allowed, because grease leaks in many occasions It will affect the product quality and cause safety problems.

3. Ball and roller spacers

The structure of MTO gearless slewing bearing can maintain the smoothness of motion, because the rolling elements are separated by spacers one by one, and special ball or roller spacers are required for special applications. For bearings installed on horizontal shafts or continuously rotating generators and bearings used in occasions with high requirements on positioning and reliability, a strip-shaped combined cage can be used to keep the rolling elements in the correct circumferential position .

4. Gear

In many cases, gear teeth can be machined on the inner or outer ring of the bearing to simplify the structure of the drive system.

5. The choice of connection method

MTO gearless slewing bearing is mainly connected by bolts to the connection between the slewing bearing and the machine base and rotating parts. Therefore, the number, diameter, length, precision, and especially installation of bolts are very important. Not only are the bolt arrangements different for different applications, but the inner and outer rings are also different.
